About Us

Weightec (NZ) Ltd supplies weighing systems, consultancy and service to the manufacturing sector. We are a New Zealand owned Auckland based company that covers the whole of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, marketing a full range of specialised equipment. Our clients are to be found in a wide range of industries including concrete, plastics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, petro-chemicals, food processing and many others producing a diverse range of products. 

Although Weightec (NZ) Ltd is a relatively new company, it’s directors have been in the weighing industry for many years and are keen to improve their own and the staff’s knowledge, skills and service. Our sales and servicing staff are continually updating their technical knowledge and attend specialised training seminars all over the world to keep up with new products that evolve from changing technologies.

Prior to the formation of Weightec, our management and staff were responsible for the setting up and operation of Rite-Weigh (NZ) Ltd, which was subsequently taken over in 2002 by Weightec (NZ) Ltd.  Rite-Weigh commenced operations in New Zealand in September 1991 and, at the time of being taken over by Weightec,  had built up a name for quality solutions and services.  This position in the market has been further strengthened by the strong customer focus of Weightec (NZ) Ltd.

Sales

Weightec is a company committed to the supply of quality equipment sourced from reputable world class manufacturers from around the world.  Although Weightec have access to almost every brand of weighing equipment, we specialise in a range of products from the more established manufacturers, which provide better value for money, greater reliability, and a higher level of support from the original source.

Over the last decade we have specialised in the areas of batch control, hazardous area systems and high accuracy weighing.  In addition to this, we have a wealth of experience in other applications such as weighbridges, high speed check weighing, metal detection and a wide range of other areas.

Service

Our servicing equipment is ‘Weights and Measures’ approved and audited to comply with legal requirements and industry standards.  We supply quality service backup as required to maintain our customers weighing systems to the standard that they require for their quality systems. 

Our service department is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  This level of service is provided because many of our customers use their equipment for production line applications, which must be kept operational and accurate at all times.
