Instruments and Electronics

Hidden inside the Sartorius Hamburg range of instruments and controllers is the most up to date technology.  This of prime importance as these products are found in the most complex weighing and batching processes.  It is essential for any business that modern industrial processes are cost-effective, flexible and extremely reliable, irrespective of the sector – chemicals, food, machinery, building materials or the construction industry.

Weight Transmitters PR1590 / PR1591 / PR1710 / PR1711 / PR1720 / PR5210 / MP20 Sartorius Hamburg offer a full range of Weight Transmitters.  Every possible option is covered including eurocard versions, stainless steel housings, 24 volt, mains powered, intrinsically safe and process transmitters which provide profibus and/or analog outputs.

X-Series Controllers The X series controllers are available in three different versions.  The X4 is a panel mount unit, the X5 is a free standing unit and the X6 is a 19” rack mount version.  The basic ProX unit can be customised to handle almost any application.  With the on board PLC capability, these units can control the weighing application as well as any associated control requirements.  To simplify the process of customising a solution, there are a range of pre-programmed solutions.  These are known as: Truck X      Weighbridge applications Fill X           Filling applications Batch X       Batching applications Mix X         Mixing / Dispensing applications Bulk X        Bulk weighing applications Log X         Material inwards / outwards applications Phase X      Batching applications with supervisory systems Flow X       Flow control applications

Ex Equipment Sartorius Hamburg also specialise in solutions for zone 1 and zone 2 hazardous areas.  Intrinsically safe versions are available for load cells, junction boxes and transmitters/controllers.  These units are ATEX certified to comply with international regulations.
